Tom is a Senior Investment Manager in Octopus Energy Generation and co-leads HYRO. HYRO is a green hydrogen developer focused on decarbonising hard-to-electrify processes in industry, and is a joint venture between RES and Octopus Energy Generation.

Tom was involved in the structuring and setup of the JV business and oversees the financing and commercial structuring of hydrogen projects - including the project offtake and hydrogen route to market. He led the HYRO team on its first project that is moving through the UK's first subsidy round (HAR1). HYRO continues to grow its pipeline and is targeting the HAR2 and HAR3 rounds (2024, 2025 subsidy rounds) for further growth.
