Sara joined the REA in June 2023 as the policy lead for green gas and hydrogen. The REA is a trade association representing over 550 trade members. In her role, Sara supports members across the hydrogen and biogas sector, working with government to drive effective policy through engagement, consultation responses, and working groups. The role also involves participation in various forums, collaboratively working with colleagues in other trade associations. Sara spent the previous 15 years in the waste management sector, working in both the private sector and local authority, in environmental and compliance management roles.
